Muse - Live in Bucharest

Having in mind the fact that I missed both Depeche Mode and Placebo concerts in Bucharest, I was really careful this time, and booked my concert tickets way before the "big day". This was the first big concert that I attended, and it was quite an extraordinary experience. Theoretically, after driving all the way to Bucharest on a very rainy day, and waiting in line to enter the stadium for over an hour, you would really expect for something to compensate.

Before Muse we could listen to some great sample of Brit pop performed by Brett Anderson, the former vocals of Suede. The funny thing was that they were not allowed to use (all) the equipment on the scene, so the impact will be more powerful later.

After another hour of waiting and lots of people making the last adjustments, Muse entered the scene. At that point I kind of realized why they won 4 times in a row the "Best Live Act" award, why they needed 7 trucks filled with 7 tons of equipment, and why 50 people where there to help (all of them came from UK).

It's hard to share the atmosphere there, so maybe some pictures would help... If you didn't have the "chance" to listen to Muse until now, you should give it a try, and also try to pay attention to the lyrics, because the guys really have some nice ideas (personally I would recommend Starlight, Sing for Absolution, Unintended, Time is Running Out, Knights of Cydonia, New Born, etc...).

PS: As another good news I will be in UK between 17 and 24 November, bouncing between London and Milton Keynes (and maybe who know else). I can barely wait! :)
